Trading securities, options, and other instruments involves substantial risk, including the risk of losing your entire investment. Copy trading does not reduce that risk — it can amplify it. You can lose money even when copying a profitable trader.
Not investment advice
Alertsify is a self-directed software and automation tool. Alertsify LLC is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, exchange, or fiduciary, and is not registered with the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, or any securities regulator. Nothing on this platform — leaderboards, statistics, trader profiles, rankings, alerts, automation features, or any communication — is investment advice, a recommendation, or an endorsement of any security, trader, or strategy. All trading decisions are yours alone.
Options risk
Options are not suitable for every investor. Buying options involves the risk of rapid and total loss of the premium paid; short-dated contracts (including 0DTE) can lose their entire value within minutes. Automation increases the speed at which those losses can occur. Before trading options, read Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options published by the OCC.
Past performance
Past performance — including broker-verified performance — is not indicative of future results. “Broker-verified” means the trade history was recorded from fills reported by the trader's connected brokerage; it does not mean Alertsify audits the trader, guarantees the record's completeness beyond what the broker reports, or predicts anything about future performance. A trader ranked #1 today can lose money tomorrow.
Hypothetical performance figures
Any figure of the form “copying with $10K would be worth $X” — including ROI-basis leaderboard columns and “what you'd make following” illustrations — is a hypothetical illustration computed from a trader's historical fills over a selected window. Hypothetical results have inherent limitations: they are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, do not reflect your actual fills, timing, slippage, commissions, fees, or taxes, and do not account for the financial risk of actually holding the positions. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve results similar to those shown.
Copy trading & auto-execution
Auto-execution mechanically mirrors another trader's activity in your own brokerage account, within limits you configure. Your fills will differ from the trader you follow — in timing, price, and sometimes quantity. Technical failures, broker outages, and orphaned positions can and do occur; you are responsible for independently monitoring your brokerage account at all times through your broker's own tools. The full authorization and risk disclosure is in Section 26 of the Terms of Service.
Leaderboards and rankings
Rankings are computed by standardized, objective formulas applied across all eligible traders — they are informational, not recommendations. Alertsify does not selectively remove losing trades or losing periods from any record, and does not independently verify performance data beyond what the connected broker reports. See How Ranks Work for the methodology.
Lead Traders are independent
Traders you can follow on Alertsify are independent third parties — not employees, agents, or representatives of Alertsify. Alertsify does not supervise their trading or communications for regulatory purposes. Any subscription fee a trader charges is set by the trader. Monetized traders are prohibited from providing individualized advice, guaranteeing profits, or framing strategies as “safe” or “low risk” — report violations to support@alertsify.com.
Your money stays at your broker
Alertsify never holds, custodies, or touches your funds or securities. All assets remain in your brokerage account at all times, and all trades are executed by your broker. Broker connections are read-only until you explicitly grant trade permission, and you can revoke Alertsify's access at any time through your broker's security settings.
Regulatory considerations
Frequent trading may subject your account to pattern-day-trader rules, margin requirements, and tax consequences. Trades executed through auto-execution occur in your account and appear on your broker's Form 1099; tax reporting is your responsibility. If you are outside the United States, it is your responsibility to ensure use of the Services is lawful in your jurisdiction.
