Alertsify Supported Brokers: Full Trade vs Read-Only (2026)
~7 min readAlertsify Team
Alertsify supports full trade execution (copied trades placed automatically in your own account) at nine brokerages: E*TRADE, Webull (US), Webull (Canada), Charles Schwab, Alpaca, tastytrade, Wealthsimple, Moomoo, and TD Ameritrade. Robinhood full-trade support is coming soon. Beyond that list, Alertsify supports read-only connections at virtually every major brokerage that offers stocks and options, including Robinhood and Interactive Brokers. Read-only connections power stat pulling and broker-verified P&L rather than trade execution.
The distinction between those two tiers is the most important thing to understand before you connect an account. A full-trade integration lets Alertsify execute copy trades in your brokerage account, within the position limits you set. A read-only integration can see your account (balances, positions, and fills) but can never place an order. Both connect the same way: you log in through Alertsify's secure broker portal, your brokerage password is never stored by Alertsify, your funds never leave your broker, and you can disconnect at any time. Here's the full breakdown of which brokers fall into which tier, current as of August 2026.

Broker support evolves. Integrations are added and upgraded over time, so treat this table as the snapshot it is and check the connection screen in the app for the live list.
What a Full-Trade Integration Does
Full trade is the tier that makes copy trading automatic. When a lead trader you follow opens or closes an options position, Alertsify places the corresponding order in your connected account, sized to your allocation and capped by your per-trade limits. Orders reach your broker in under a second, whether the trade was placed manually or fired as a copy: Alertsify's rule processing (allocation, caps, and safety checks) takes roughly 10 to 20 milliseconds, and the broker typically takes another 200 to 600 milliseconds to process the order. That speed matters with options, where premiums can reprice significantly in minutes; you can read exactly what happens between a lead trader's fill and yours in how options copy trading works.
A full-trade connection is still bounded by your broker's own rules. You need options approval at the broker (buying calls and puts typically requires the basic long-options tier), your buying power sets a hard ceiling, and every order goes through the broker's normal risk checks. Alertsify is execution infrastructure: it routes the trades you've chosen to copy, at the size you set. It never has withdrawal access and never takes custody of funds.
What a Read-Only Integration Does
Read-only connections are about verification, not execution. When a trader connects an account, Alertsify pulls their actual fills, positions, and P&L directly from the brokerage, which is what makes broker-verified trader stats possible. No screenshots, no self-reported numbers: if a trader's record is on Alertsify, it came from their broker. The same tier lets followers at read-only brokers track their own accounts and verify performance, even though copy trades can't be auto-executed there yet.
Because read-only access is far less sensitive than trade access, it's available much more broadly. Here's the current read-only roster by region:
| Region | Read-only supported brokers |
| United States | Chase, Citi, Edward Jones, Empower, eToro, Fidelity, Interactive Brokers, PNC, Robinhood, TIAA, Transamerica, US Bank, Vanguard, Wells Fargo |
| Canada | Interactive Brokers, Questrade, TD Direct Investing |
| Europe | AJ Bell, BUX, DEGIRO, eToro, Interactive Brokers, Robinhood |
| Australia | CommSec |
| India | Upstox, Zerodha |
Note that several of the US read-only institutions (Chase, Citi, PNC, US Bank, Wells Fargo, and similar) are bank-brokerage platforms geared toward long-term investing rather than active options trading; their tier is about account visibility and verified tracking, not copy execution. If your brokerage holds stocks and options, odds are good it can be linked for verification even if it isn't on the full-trade list.
Which Tier Do You Actually Need?
It depends on which side of the copy you're on. If you're a follower who wants trades executed automatically, you need an account at one of the nine full-trade brokers; that's the tier that places orders. If you're a lead trader, you also need a broker on the full-trade list, because Alertsify mirrors your fills out to followers in real time and the account you trade from must be on the trade-execution tier. And if you're just evaluating (tracking your own performance or auditing a trader before subscribing), a read-only link at whatever broker you already use covers it.
A common setup is both at once: your main account stays read-only for tracking, while a smaller dedicated account at a full-trade broker handles copy execution. That separation keeps your long-term holdings untouched by copy activity and makes it obvious at a glance how the copying is performing. If you're still deciding which trader to follow, the free daily market briefing is a low-commitment way to watch how verified traders are navigating the current tape before connecting anything.
Robinhood: Where It Stands
Robinhood is the most-requested integration, so to be precise about its status: today, Robinhood accounts connect read-only. A Robinhood trader can have their P&L broker-verified and their account tracked. Full trade execution on Robinhood is coming soon; until it lands, Robinhood accounts can't be used to lead or auto-execute copy trades. If you want to copy trade before then, connect an account at one of the nine full-trade brokers above; if you're set on staying Robinhood-only, watch the app's connection screen for the upgrade.
How Connecting Works (and What Alertsify Can Never Do)
Every connection, full trade or read-only, starts in Alertsify's secure broker portal: you pick your brokerage, log in through the portal's encrypted connection flow, and your broker authorizes a scoped connection that you can revoke at any time. Alertsify never stores your brokerage password. And regardless of tier, some things are structurally impossible: Alertsify cannot withdraw funds, cannot transfer assets, and cannot trade beyond the caps you configure. Your money lives at your broker, full stop. It's the same custody model covered in how broker-verified copy trading works.
One practical note before you connect: pick the account deliberately. Most traders connect a dedicated account sized to their copy trading allocation rather than their main long-term portfolio. It keeps risk caps clean and makes month-end review (your copy P&L versus the lead trader's) much easier to read. As always with options, only allocate what you can afford to lose; past performance is not indicative of future results.
FAQ
Can I copy trade with Robinhood on Alertsify?
Not yet for automated execution. Robinhood currently connects read-only, which supports verified stats and account tracking, and full trade support is coming soon. To auto-execute copies today, use one of the full-trade brokers such as Schwab, E*TRADE, Webull, tastytrade, Moomoo, Alpaca, or Wealthsimple.
Is Interactive Brokers supported?
Yes, as a read-only connection: IBKR accounts can be linked for stat pulling and broker-verified P&L. Automated copy execution isn't available on IBKR at this time. Check the app's connection screen for the current tier of any broker.
Does Alertsify ever hold my money?
No. Both integration tiers connect through Alertsify's secure broker portal, and Alertsify never has custody or withdrawal access. Full-trade connections can place trades within your configured limits; read-only connections can only view account data. You can revoke either at any time.
What if my broker isn't on the list?
If it's a major brokerage that offers stocks and options, it can very likely be connected read-only for verification and tracking. Full-trade support is a smaller, growing list. Check the connection screen in the app for the live roster, since integrations are added and upgraded over time.
