This example runs on Alertsify as written: an input, two EMAs, a daily timeframe, a shape, an alert condition, a table and a log line.

What's supported

The parts of Pine your scripts use.

Alertsify's engine is Pine-compatible, written from the language's public behavior. Here is what it runs today.

Versions 3 to 6Older scripts run too. v3 and v4 names like sma() and security() map to their v5 homes.
Indicators, strategies, librariesIncluding library() with export and import, nested up to four deep.
request.securityRead other symbols and timeframes from the chart's own data.
DrawingsLabels, lines, boxes, tables, linefills and polylines.
Arrays, maps and matricesThe collections real scripts lean on.
Script alertsalertcondition() conditions become alerts, with {{ticker}}, {{close}} and other placeholders filled in.
Strategy TesterPerformance summary, every trade, equity curve with drawdown, buy and hold, Sharpe and Sortino.
Script logslog.info, log.warning and log.error, newest first, with the bar each was written on.
Tables on a phoneA table too big for a small screen folds into a tab that opens it full size.

Not every part of the language is supported yet. When a script uses something we don't run, it stops with a sentence saying what, or runs and tells you what it skipped. Data the chart has no source for reads as na.

The chart around it

More than a script runner.

Your scripts sit on the same free chart as everything else.

FAQ

Pine scripts on Alertsify.

Is it free to run Pine scripts on Alertsify?

Yes. Pine scripts, the Strategy Tester and Script logs are part of the free account. No card needed.

Will my TradingView script run as it is?

Most will. Alertsify runs indicators, strategies and libraries written for Pine versions 3 to 6. It isn't a copy of TradingView, so not every part of the language is supported yet. If a script uses something we don't support, it stops with a sentence saying what, or runs and tells you what it skipped.

Can I backtest a Pine strategy?

Yes. Add a strategy() script and the Strategy Tester shows its performance summary, every trade, the equity curve with drawdown, and buy and hold for comparison. Results are a historical test, not a promise of future returns.

Can my script use other symbols and timeframes?

Yes. request.security reads other symbols and timeframes from the chart's own data.

Can I get alerts from my script?

Yes. Conditions from alertcondition() can become alerts, with placeholders like {{ticker}} and {{close}} filled in when they fire.

Can I share my indicator?

Yes. Publish it to the Indicator Marketplace, or add indicators other traders have published.
